Check in at Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport for a connection flight for Paris.
Cross the International Date Line.
November 5th
Paris
Change the connection flight and arrive at Paris, the City of Lights, and the capital of France. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
November 6th
Paris
Full day city tour to explore Paris, including a drive along the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. View the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the Latin Quarter, and Opera District, Notre Dame and Place de la Concorde. Afternoon visit Louvre Museum, originally built in 12 to 13 century, established in 1793, contained about 460,000 objects and displays 35,000 works of art in 8 curatorial departments, it is the largest museum in the world.
November 7th
Paris/ Giverny/ Tapestry/ Bayeux
Visit the former house of Claude Monet at Giverny. Explore the famous gardens which inspired many of Monet’s paintings. See the intricate Bayeux Tapestry, woven to commemorate the Norman invasion of England by William the Conqueror in 1066.
November 8th
Bayeux/ Normandy/ Bayeux
Visit St. Mere Eglise on the Cotentin Peninsula, where the allied invasion began 75 years ago on June 6, 1944—D-Day. Visit Utah Beach, then make a stop at the Ranger Memorial at Pointe de Hoe. Visit Omaha Beach, the site of Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, which covers 172.5 acres and contains the graves of 9,387 American soldiers.
November 9th & 10th
Bayeux/ Mont St. Michel/ Loire Valley
Depart to the iconic Mont St. Michel, rising from the sea on the mighty rock. Cross the causeway by shuttle and browse the narrow streets and admire the views of the surrounding bay. Stay at Loire Valley for two nights. Travel to the Chateau de Chenonceau. Stretching across the River Cher and visit Royal Chateau d’Amboise where the artist Leonardo da Vinci is buried. Wine Taste before return to the hotel.
November 11th
Chambord/ Chartres/ Paris
Travel to Chateau de Chambord, visit to Chartres, home of greatest Gothic cathedral in France.
Visit Versailles.
November 12th
Paris/ Dallas Ft. Worth
Fly back to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport, where you will arrive on the same day.
